The president calls the program “a direct path to Citizenship for all qualified and vetted people.”
President Donald Trump’s administration launched its Trump Gold Card site, allowing foreigners to apply for entry to the country through an expedited process. Applicants must pay the Department of Homeland Security a $15,000 processing fee. Once processing has been completed, the individual must gift $1 million to the U.S. as “evidence that the individual will substantially benefit the United States.”
The Trump Corporate Gold Card was also released, for corporations to “sponsor” one or more of their employees, which has a similar process to the Trump Gold Card. The final entry program, the Trump Platinum Card, is said to be coming soon.
Successful applicants of the Trump Gold Card Program will achieve U.S. residential status and become an EB-1 or EB-2 visa holder.
President Trump stated that this program is “a direct path to Citizenship for all qualified and vetted people.”
